בשנת עשרין ושבע שנין לירבעם מלכא דישראל מלך עזריה בר אמציה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk amtsyh br ezryh mlk dyshral mlka lyrbem shnyn wshbe eshryn bshnth
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah began to reign.

בר שית עסרי שנין הוה כד מלך וחמשין ותרתין שנין מלך בירושלם ושום אמיה יכליה מירושלם:
myrwshlm yklyh amyh wshwm byrwshlm mlk shnyn wthrthyn wkhmshyn mlk kd hwh shnyn esry shyth br
He was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.

ועבד דכשר קדם יי ככל דעבד אמציה אבוהי:
abwhy amtsyh debd kkl yy qdm dkshr webd
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.

לחוד במתא לא עטרא עד כען עמא מדבחין ומסקין בוסמא על במתא:
bmtha el bwsma wmsqyn mdbkhyn ema ken ed eTra la bmtha lkhwd
However, the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.

ואיתי יי מכתש על מלכא והוה סגיר על יום מותיה ויתיב בר מן ירושלם ויותם בר מלכא ממנא על ביתא דאין ית עמא דארעא:
darea ema yth dayn bytha el mmna mlka br wywthm yrwshlm mn br wythyb mwthyh ywm el sgyr whwh mlka el mkthsh yy waythy
Yahweh struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham, the king’s son, was over the household, judging the people of the land.

ושכיב עזריה עם אבהתוהי וקברו יתיה עם אבהתוהי בקרתא דדוד ומלך יותם בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh ywthm wmlk ddwd bqrtha abhthwhy em ythyh wqbrw abhthwhy em ezryh wshkyb
Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city; and Jotham his son reigned in his place.

בשנת תלתין ותמני שנין לעזריה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מלך זכריהו בר ירבעם על ישראל בשמרון שתא ירחין:
yrkhyn shtha bshmrwn yshral el yrbem br zkryhw mlk yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk lezryh shnyn wthmny thlthyn bshnth
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.

ועבד דביש קדם יי כמא דעבדו אבהתוהי לא סטא מחובי ירבעם בר נבט דחיב ית ישראל:
yshral yth dkhyb nbT br yrbem mkhwby sTa la abhthwhy debdw kma yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as his fathers had done. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.

ומרד עלוהי שלם בר יבש ומחהי קדם עמא וקטליה ומלך תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy wmlk wqTlyh ema qdm wmkhhy ybsh br shlm elwhy wmrd
Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck him before the people and killed him, and reigned in his place.

ושאר פתגמי זכריה הא אינון כתיבין על ספר פתגמי יומיא למלכי ישראל:
yshral lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn aynwn ha zkryh pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

הוא פתגמא דיי די מליל עם יהוא למימר בנין רביעאין יתבון לך על כורסי מלכותא דישראל והוה כן:
kn whwh dyshral mlkwtha kwrsy el lk ythbwn rbyeayn bnyn lmymr yhwa em mlyl dy dyy pthgma hwa
This was Yahweh’s word which he spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” So it came to pass.

שלום בר יבש מלך בשנת תלתין ותשע שנין לעזיה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה ומלך ירח יומין בשמרון:
bshmrwn ywmyn yrkh wmlk yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk lezyh shnyn wthshe thlthyn bshnth mlk ybsh br shlwm
Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned for a month in Samaria.

וסליק מנחם בר גדי מתרצה ואתא לשמרון ומחא ית שלום בר יבש בשמרון וקטליה ומלך תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy wmlk wqTlyh bshmrwn ybsh br shlwm yth wmkha lshmrwn watha mthrtsh gdy br mnkhm wslyq
Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, came to Samaria, struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, killed him, and reigned in his place.

ושאר פתגמי שלום ומירדיה די מרד הא אינון כתיבין על ספרי פתגמי יומיא למלכי ישראל:
yshral lmlky ywmya pthgmy spry el kthybyn aynwn ha mrd dy wmyrdyh shlwm pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

בכן מחא מנחם ית תפסח וית כל די בה וית תחומהא מתרצה ארי לא פתחת תרעהא לאשלמא ומחא וית כל מעדיתהא בזע:
bze medythha kl wyth wmkha lashlma threha pthkhth la ary mthrtsh thkhwmha wyth bh dy kl wyth thpskh yth mnkhm mkha bkn
Then Menahem attacked Tiphsah and all who were in it and its border areas, from Tirzah. He attacked it because they didn’t open their gates to him, and he ripped up all their women who were with child.

בשנת תלתין ותשע שנין לעזריה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מלך מנחם בר גדי על ישראל עסר שנין בשמרון:
bshmrwn shnyn esr yshral el gdy br mnkhm mlk yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk lezryh shnyn wthshe thlthyn bshnth
In the thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.

ועבד דביש קדם יי לא סטא מעל חובי ירבעם בר נבט דחיב על ישראל כל יומוהי:
ywmwhy kl yshral el dkhyb nbT br yrbem khwby mel sTa la yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight. He didn’t depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.

אתא פול מלכא דאתור על ארעא ויהב מנחם לפול אלף ככרין דכסף לאשלמא ידוהי עמיה לאתקפא מלכותא בידיה:
bydyh mlkwtha lathqpa emyh ydwhy lashlma dksp kkryn alp lpwl mnkhm wyhb area el dathwr mlka pwl atha
Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

ורמא מנחם ית כספא על ישראל ועל כל גברי חילא למתן למלכא דאתור חמשין סלעין דכסף לגברא חד ותב מלכא דאתור ולא אנזיק תמן בארעא:
barea thmn anzyq wla dathwr mlka wthb khd lgbra dksp sleyn khmshyn dathwr lmlka lmthn khyla gbry kl wel yshral el kspa yth mnkhm wrma
Menahem exacted the money from Israel, even from all the mighty men of wealth, from each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and didn’t stay there in the land.

ושכיב מנחם עם אבהתוהי ומלך פקחיה בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh pqkhyh wmlk abhthwhy em mnkhm wshkyb
Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.
23
בשנת חמשין שנין לעזריה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מלך פקחיה בר מנחם על ישראל בשמרון תרתין שנין:
shnyn thrthyn bshmrwn yshral el mnkhm br pqkhyh mlk yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk lezryh shnyn khmshyn bshnth
In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria for two years.

ועבד דביש קדם יי לא סטא מחובי ירבעם בר נבט דחייב ית ישראל:
yshral yth dkhyyb nbT br yrbem mkhwby sTa la yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.

ומרד עלוהי פקח בר רמליהו גבריה ומחהי בשמרון באידרון בית מלכא ית ארגוב וית אריא ועמיה חמשין גברא מבני גלעדאי וקטליה ומלך תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy wmlk wqTlyh gleday mbny gbra khmshyn wemyh arya wyth argwb yth mlka byth baydrwn bshmrwn wmkhhy gbryh rmlyhw br pqkh elwhy wmrd
Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him and attacked him in Samaria, in the fortress of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites. He killed him, and reigned in his place.

בשנת חמשין ותרתין שנין לעזריה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה מלך פקח בר רמליהו על ישראל בשמרון עסרין שנין:
shnyn esryn bshmrwn yshral el rmlyhw br pqkh mlk yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk lezryh shnyn wthrthyn khmshyn bshnth
In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.

ועבד דביש קדם יי לא סטא מן חובי ירבעם בר נבט דחיב ית ישראל:
yshral yth dkhyb nbT br yrbem khwby mn sTa la yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight. He didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.

ביומי פקח מלכא דישראל אתא תגלת פלאסר מלכא דאתור ושבא ית עיון וית אבל בית מעכא וית ינוח וית קדש וית חצור וית גלעדא וית גלילא כל ארעא שבט נפתלי ואגלינון לאתור:
lathwr waglynwn npthly shbT area kl glyla wyth gleda wyth khtswr wyth qdsh wyth ynwkh wyth meka byth abl wyth eywn yth wshba dathwr mlka plasr thglth atha dyshral mlka pqkh bywmy
In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, Abel Beth Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.

ומרד מירדא הושע בר אלה על פקח בר רמליהו ומחהי וקטליה ומלך תחותוהי בשנת עסרין ליותם בר עזיה:
ezyh br lywthm esryn bshnth thkhwthwhy wmlk wqTlyh wmkhhy rmlyhw br pqkh el alh br hwshe myrda wmrd
Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, attacked him, killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

בשנת תרתין לפקח בר רמליהו מלכא דישראל מלך יותם בר עזיהו מלך שבטא דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk ezyhw br ywthm mlk dyshral mlka rmlyhw br lpqkh thrthyn bshnth
In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah began to reign.
33
בר עשרין וחמש שנין הוה כד מלך ושית עשרי שנין מלך בירושלם ושום אמיה ירושא בת צדוק:
tsdwq bth yrwsha amyh wshwm byrwshlm mlk shnyn eshry wshyth mlk kd hwh shnyn wkhmsh eshryn br
He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.

ועבד דכשר קדם יי ככל דעבד עזיה אבוהי עבד:
ebd abwhy ezyh debd kkl yy qdm dkshr webd
He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes. He did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35
לחוד במתא לא עטרא עד כען עמא מדבחין ומסקין בוסמיא על במתא הוא בנא ית תרע בית מקדשא דיי עלאה:
elah dyy mqdsha byth thre yth bna hwa bmtha el bwsmya wmsqyn mdbkhyn ema ken ed eTra la bmtha lkhwd
However the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. He built the upper gate of Yahweh’s house.

yhwdh dbyth lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn aynwn hla ebd dy wkl ywthm pthgmy wshar

ביומיא האינון שרי יי לגראה בדבית יהודה רצין מלכא דארם וית פקח בר רמליהו:
rmlyhw br pqkh wyth darm mlka rtsyn yhwdh bdbyth lgrah yy shry haynwn bywmya
In those days, Yahweh began to send Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah against Judah.
38
ושכיב יותם עם אבהתוהי ואתקבר עם אבהתוהי בקרתא דדוד אבוהי ומלך אחז בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh akhz wmlk abwhy ddwd bqrtha abhthwhy em wathqbr abhthwhy em ywthm wshkyb
Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in his father David’s city; and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
